Donny McCaslin is David Bowie’s chosen musician for what will be his last album « Blackstar ». Beyond Now which the jazz saxophonist publishes three months after the end of their joint venture on the album Blackstar, is not an “opportunist” album but a unique and unexpected tribute. Filmed at the Coopérative de Mai in November 2017, this intimate concert offers a journey between jazz, post-punk, psychedelic and electro in a unique atmosphere.
